This interesting Cordyceps relative parasitizes aphids. However, most of its resources it receives from the plant , often a bamboo stem, the aphid tapped into before having a fungal infection. The aphid turns basically into a straw for the Ascopolyporus. - Deconica sp. with gorgeous striations on the cap growing in Chivor.
