Khampas are people from the Kham region in Eastern Tibet, these days divided and ruled under Tibet AR's Qamdo/Chamdo Prefecture, Sichuan's Ganzi/Kandze & Ngawa/Aba TAP, Yunnan's Deqing/Dechen TAP and parts of Qinghai's Yushu/Jyekundo TAP = Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.
